Fall is here, and that means football, pumpkins, cool weather, and Halloween! Whether you’re the sort who’s been planning your costume since last year, or the one who will be throwing something together two hours before an event, we have something for you. Here are five Baylor-themed costumes you can DIY in as much or as little time as you have:
First and foremost, the literal Baylor Bear. Cute, simple, and perfect for all ages and genders! You can even get your dog in on the fun.
For the fan who wants to take their bear costume to the next level, we have three words for you: Bruiser and Marigold. To pull this off, you’ll have to find (or make) Baylor football, basketball or Line jerseys, green pants or skirt, green tennis shoes, and a yellow flower crown (for Marigold).
Next, with Baylor’s wide variety of sports teams (19, to be exact) there are plenty of ways to dress up as a Baylor student-athlete. Baseball, football, soccer, tennis, acrobatics — simply wear a sport uniform, and make sure it has plenty of green, gold, and BUs on it!

This one is for the especially dedicated Baylor and Halloween fans: Judge Baylor or Rufus Burleson. This is essentially turning yourself into a human statue by spray painting a set of old clothes and using face paint to color your body. For the Judge, wear thick robes and a bow tie, carry a law book, and sit still in chairs as much as possible. For Burleson, wear a fake beard, carry a cane and a top hat, and stand upright and still whenever you can.
